As the founder of the Swim Global Project, Nathalie has spearheaded a wide array of water safety and drowning prevention initiatives across North and South America, the Caribbean, and Africa.
With over 3 decades dedicated to global drowning prevention, her efforts have significantly advanced water safety education through impactful programming and advocacy. Nathalie's work extends into strategic grant-making, philanthropy, and the innovative use of technology and communication strategies to promote the cause.
Nathalie is a committed volunteer and distinguished member of the Lifesaving Society, Canada, honored with a Service Bar by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario for her significant contributions. Her dedication to public health and safety is highlighted by her leadership in the research portfolio and the development of a longstanding partnership with Toronto Metropolitan University. This collaboration focuses on advancing research in Occupational and Public Health and Safety across Ontario. Additionally, Nathalie co-founded the US Drowning Research Alliance and is an active member of both the United States Lifesaving Association and the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS), further demonstrating her extensive involvement in lifesaving initiatives and organizations worldwide.
